Pros

There are some professionals within the organization. A lot of room for improvement. If you are innovative and great at politics you may be able to see your ideas become realities.

Cons

Accrued time off at 2 weeks per calendar year. Expensive borderline unaffordable/ high deductible insurance benefits. For office workers you will be treated to a stained chair and a small beige cubicle. The leadership in this company is anything but exemplary. The company lacks any formal processes, consistently gives vague and non descriptive change requests at the end of the day or worse end of week without any prioritization and requests spread across email, Slack, Hive, Domo, and Dropbox worksheets without containing accurate expectations or guidelines. If you ask for clarification you are labeled as lacking in job knowledge and will quickly damage your perception within the company. Nice to your face but incapable of communicating or navigating difficult conversations when necessary nor providing actionable feedback when requested. If you make a mistake depending on the magnitude you can be berated with foul language in public settings. If you have an arrangement to work remotely, don’t be surprised to be softened up with a team dinner before being pitched the idea that they want to pull back on their arrangements and have “everyone” return to the office. If you think a 1:1 is about goal setting, identifying wins and opportunities, or professional development you will be sorely disappointed. Prepare for a high pressure, thankless job and supporting inexperienced staff. It’s worth noting that if you go to HR after being exposed to work hostility your employment may be terminated within two days as mine was. Best of luck!

Pros

- Pay was decent when I started (for area I live, $40k yearly isn't enough in premium markets) - Pick your areas to visit, flexible schedule - Your on your own day to day, visiting locations, not stuck in a office - Decent discount on wireless, rather have a work line provided though - Single person I sure pretty good - Company did good for us during first few months of COVID while Government made them

Cons

- No raises. Hope $40k base pay is enough for you - Commissions cut 20-25% even though company had 2nd best year in history, and clients had best year in about a decade - Mileage took over a year to raise, and even then is less than any other similar role I've had - Commissions based on the sales of the locations you cover, which you truly have little effect on. You can train them the best you can but with staffing issues, inventory issues, turnover, and the fact they sell multiple other carriers that have higher budgets and better rewards for selling their items your prob not gonna make what they tell you during interview. - Your salaried/no OT, and will be pushed to work 50-60 hours. It's only a matter of time before they get sued and switch to hourly with OT/40 hour work weeks like the other companies in this industry. Surprised it hasn't happened yet. - Your job will constantly pick up more responsibilities, with no compensation. Due to this you'll spend less time focused on improving sales (what little you can anyways) so your actually making less money than when you started.

Pros

- Field role - Mostly Flexible - Different locations each day - Felt supported during covid peak in 2020

Cons

- Salaried overtime-exempt role when it should be hourly (look at other similar roles at other companies...) - Constant changes to focus, took many captains of the ship - Underpayed for the role compared to competition - Best few years for client and company, year after year less pay for FSR - Salaried overtime-exempt should mean flexible hours, sometimes over 40, sometimes under. But no, it's classified that way so they can expect you to work 10+ hours a day. Complains when employees try to have a work-life balance - Micromanaging over every step right now. We broke our backs for the last 2+ years and numbers showed it, and we didn't get any positive out of it, no wonder people are trying to only work 8 hours a day/do their role and not overachieve.
