Pros

Some benefits after 90 days, and more along with 401k and vacation time after a year.

Cons

Their promoting and demoting practices ate very arbitrary and confusing. The president often makes crazy, unreasonable demands of the employees. One is required to request all time off at beginning of the year, not as the year goes. If you get hired and bank up leave time, be sure to use it prior to leaving the job, or they use fictitious rules NOT in their bible, the employee rule book, to rob you of earned time off.

Pros

The people that are not in upper management are great to work with. Money was decent but it became very obvious that money was their way to treat you awful and make it hard for you to find something else.

Cons

It seems like a great opportunity at first, but you will find that the company is full of unhappy people. Management does things that are borderline illegal. Absolutely no flexibility-- no sick days, no personal time, very limited vacation time that you have to plan a year in advance. There was not one point while I was there that I felt like my superiors cared about me as an employee or as a person. It is not tough to make me happy, but I was the most unhappy I have ever been while working there. It's sad because they get some really great people in there but they are treated so poorly that they have no choice but to find another job.

Pros

Luncheons are pretty good most the time. Vending machines are cheap and usually stocked. Free coffee and hot chocolate. Cleaner than most machine shops.

Cons

If you are a good worker they pile responsibly and work on you. They have no problem forcing good employees to do the work of four people while the other 3 do almost nothing. If that one responsible employee makes a mistake, they write you up and hold meetings to insult you. If you bring up the fact that you are doing too much they flip out saying it's not an excuse. They have chased many employees away with their ridiculous policies, demands, and uncomfortable atmosphere. Most people with a good head on their shoulders have left and the ones still here want to leave. The building is falling apart and everything is rigged. As long as the offices are in working order nobody cares about anything else. They don’t have enough bathrooms for as many employees they have. Vacation time is not flexible and they are very picky about letting you take it. There are way too many rules about it. There is no sick time or personal days. If you call off they act like it's the end of the world. Hostile work environment. Any issues you may have are treated as a personal attack and greeted with hostility.
