-Flexible scheduling depending on course load -Caring mentors, with great feedback -Encouraged to progress in larger/more demanding roles -Professional setting, high standards doesn't even feel like a college newspaper -Best opportunity on campus to practice skills in media

Cons

-Some sections are better at integrating new members than others -Members get more out of Daily Bruin if admitted as a freshman, difficult if they are admitted later in their college career -Proofreading timing is unpredictable, can finish at 11pm or 3am the next day
