Pros
They're relatively honest for a trucking company, the coordinators will bend over backwards to try to fix issues and the company culture allows them to admit guilt and correct errors.
Cons
the spl side which is their lease purchase side has some very high overhead costs, Daily takes 30% of all the trucks revenue which includes tarp pay, detention, truck order not used and layover pay. the company no longer adds money for fuel to the loads and now back charges every expense, we used to just pay ifta now we pay ifta and the price difference for any fuel shortages in the fleet. the loads never pay more than around 3 dollars a mile for the big heavy stuff and youll probably average around 2.50 a mile all miles if your lucky and run hard. I have been here since 2019 and have never missed a runners award, i'm top 5 in the company for miles and top 3 on my coordinator’s board and can still barely make the payments with the fuel prices being 5 plus a gallon. Daily doesnt think twice about dead heading you 300 miles but they wont offer up any extra fuel money to cover that dead head or bump the rate on the loads to offset it. I've dead headed 600 miles for a load to get off a coast line because there wasnt any frieght available.
