Pros

Good coworkers, hours, and decent pay.

Cons

Management demonstrates noticeable favoritism among employees, which contributes to an inequitable work environment. There is also a culture of workplace gossip that impacts professionalism and overall team morale. At times, management can be dismissive or unresponsive when employees seek support or guidance. The position experiences a consistently high turnover rate, which appears to be driven by burnout and a lack of adequate support. In my three years with the company, I have not seen a higher rate of employees quitting or being terminated. Additionally, there are instances where long-term employees are let go without clear or constructive feedback, creating uncertainty and instability within the workplace. The role is physically demanding and often involves exposure to workplace injuries, including scratches and other physical injuries from clients. This aspect of the job would benefit from significantly stronger safety measures and staff support. I struggled with the lack of stability in this job and repeatedly felt overlooked and unappreciated in my role. There is a lack of consistency in the ABA program, with frequent changes to protocols, expectations, and schedules, which can make the work environment feel unstable. The PTO policy is limited, with relatively low accrual rates, making it difficult to build a meaningful amount of time off. There is also no separate sick leave, requiring employees to use PTO when ill. Overall, based on my experience, this workplace may not be a good fit for those seeking a supportive, stable, and professionally managed environment. The company seems to value their profits over employees.
