      Working with kids and making a difference with families who need help.

      Cons

      Management, executive leadership, pay, lack of respect. Told to accept being rude to, being demeaned, and being disrespected by management by HR.

      Family Services Counselor, Daniel Memorial

      Pros

      You get to help children in the Foster Care system. The pro's of this job did not match the cons. I do not think working as a family services counselor and or foster care case manager is worth the time, effort or psychological stress of working especially with the benefits and pay being so low.

      Cons

      Unrealistic expatiations, low pay for a high work load(paid less than a high school teacher but asked to do more work under psychological stress). Daniel Memorial has a high turn over rate and treat employees as a human resource.
