      Great Potential Company, but worse than high school in the headquarters

      Pros

      The upper management seem to really have good heads upon their shoulders. There's a great gym and recently renovated break area with full kitchen. You'll gain 20 pounds in the first 6 months, as a result.

      Cons

      There is a little bit too much job security. Individuals with no management skills and an inability to stick to a decision, and who play political games with other departments to the detriment of morale, are allowed to remain in Director-level positions. There are rivalries between departments that are completely childish and uncalled for. Upper management is aware, but seems to be unwilling to take action. Maybe they will - I was not going to wait around to see, for my own mental health.

      Gossip killed it for me

      Pros

      Compensation is decent, fun company events. Met a few nice people.

      Cons

      Although every company has cliques, it's very evident here, especially within the accounting department (they don't realize it or perhaps they do). New employees aren't encouraged to join committees or help with events; for whatever reason certain people are territorial with it. Also, too much gossip (including a few members of management) which is sad as its counterproductive and makes for an uncomfortable environment. If it doesn't personally affect senior leadership, then they don't care. It's all about the dollar of course. (And looking good in the community)
