Pros

-Culture is strong and proud -A true industry leader in casual dining -Benefits are good and bonus truly rewards good performance, assuming the Company is doing well -Emerged from change in Board of Directors as a stronger company -Lot of talent despite series of layoffs in 2014-2015

Cons

-Upper management does not always recognize and promote the top talent -Politics and who you know plays at least a partial role in consideration for advancement -Casual dining is not particularly strong right now, albeit Darden's brands are strong relatively speaking -Portfolio of brands should be more diversified for true balance

Pros

Nice campus ... And that's about it!!

Cons

Crazy long hours, impossible deadlines, lack of clear strategy and direction from management (which changes daily), and horrible politics.

Pros

Compensation and benefits are very nice. Being a part of a very stable company with strong brands (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Long Horn, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52 and Capital Grill) is great!

Cons

Integrity in the director and above levels doesn't exist. Their interaction with employees is phony....grin and stab in the back...or grin and not give complete feedback to help employees know where they stand in order to address their opportunities, strive for other positions or decide if it's in their best interest to leave the company.
