They lie and change at will.

Pros

Work and life balance. Good pay when they pay you

Cons

They completely lie about their rate of pay, bonuses, as well as detention and layover pay. There is no guaranteed anything. Also It is not $150 layover pay. It is a case by case basis. (so another words, whatever they see fit.) There is no extra incidental pays as they say. They do not look out for drivers when drivers do them a favor, and their lack of communication amongst themselves causes problems such as going 390 miles and staying overnight to pick up a load. To find a broken trailer dropped at the shop only hours before. And a tractor that’s federal inspection is expired by five months. Then they don’t want to pay you the full layover pay for the night that you’re there or any kind of decent detention pay for all of the 6 1/2 hours you are fixing their mess. Which they have the lowest detention pay in the industry. $12. As well as the lowest holiday pay in the industry. $50. It certainly is not all that they made themselves out to be.

Pros

Been here now for about six months and feel comfortable being able to leave a fair review. About two months into the job I received a random call that they were giving me a raise which was unexpected but appreciated! Love that it’s home daily. Easy to get in contact with my fleet manager. Dispatch doesn’t bother you whatsoever as long as your getting the load delivered safely & obviously not crashing your truck or running into stuff. They aren’t calling to nitpick you on too close of following distance or trying to find out why you have stability control events. Our truck and our other teams truck did NOT have cameras in or out. Medical is great as they have a $1000 deductible/copay plan still. Vision is great. However, dental coverage is VERY poor. No implant coverage and only a $1,000 yearly maximum even on the premium plan. Delta Dental just blames the employer for the poor coverage last time I talked to them.

Cons

The only downside is they get their trucks from Ryder/Penske and these trucks are constantly having issues. They spec the trucks pretty decent with heated and cooled seats along with air kingpin release, bench passenger seat. However, our truck is approaching 600k+ miles. Fuel bonus is impossible to get when it’s set at 8mpg target. Performance bonus of 0.02 cents (could be a little bit higher) a mile per month for all miles driven as long as you are getting your loads delivered and not calling off unplanned.
