      Pros

      As a new graduate, there are very few companies which offer the same level of experience which can be gained from working at Datasparq. In my first 6 months, I've worked on multiple projects with advancing responsibilities in each. From day one, your thoughts and ideas are welcomed and any member of the company can have a real impact on client projects or business processes. There is a real emphasis on personal development which is fantastic for a new graduate.

      Cons

      The growing nature of the business could be challenging for some individuals as processes are always evolving. Such as the structure of onboarding graduates.

      Pros

      Really varied and interesting projects across a diversity of industries. Time explicitly made available for learning and development. Get to work with amazing people who believe in the team ethic in Data Science and AI product co-creation. Fantastic engineers who can turn their hand to seemingly any challenge in any cloud environment - massively parallel and distributed computation or containerised expertise. Will often write their own tooling if current approaches don't exist. A brilliant product team that bring the whole experience together and professionalise the team. Super talented data scientists with diverse backgrounds and expertise - lots of curiosity to try and get great science to do cool things!

      Cons

      Try to set the good example for the team and give them the message about not working over hours - but inevitably work creeps in especially at the Director level.

      + Great culture and team ethos + Collaborative working style with a flat structure + Delivering high impact projects and outcomes + Working with interesting companies from UK based national companies to large multi-national global enterprise organisations + Opportunity to learn and grow in a fast paced environment, great development opportunities

      Cons

      There are the normal challenges you would expect from a young, rapidly growing entrepreneurial company. Not cons per say but worth being aware of as they aren’t for everyone: • faced paced environment • highly collaborative and hands on working style • lots of competing priorities / focus areas
