The product is substandard. It is not uncommon for it to fail right out of the box. This is after Production managers claim the product was thoroughly tested. Not true! On several occasions, Datron personnel has had to do a song-and-dance in front of the upset customer and explain why the radios/amplifiers etc., were malfunctioning and in some cases DOA. Standard practice is, if the product passed final test once, then "ship it!".. There have been many outstanding bonified and experienced RF engineers and technicians at Datron but were ran off by Art Barter. His verbal abuse and intimidation were just not acceptable. "Servant Leadership - Yeah Right!". In view of this, Datron has had to hire engineers/technicians that have no background in radio equipment. They have had to learn it on the job, hence, SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT. Garbage-in-Garbage-Out..
