Pros

Job security. Well funded stable non-profit.

Cons

The organization chiefly concerns itself with making money - lots of money! It is a well oiled machine in this regard. Management is not client-centered in the least. They say they are but do not walk the talk. Additionally, most of the patients are heavily drugged making counseling difficult and ineffective as they cannot participate. It amounts to babysitting and milking government benefit and insurance programs for all they can get. Many patients have been there for years with little to no improvement. Go figure.

Pros

They want twenty words for the pros. At least each year you get a raise even if it is only pennies.

Cons

The good employees leave because the bad employees stay. Constant bickering and gossiping and back biting that no one does anything about.

Pros

Excellent place to work, provides such a needed service to communities around New York state.

Cons

The management structure was toxic and stuck in the past. One-on-one meetings turned into bullying sessions and HR was on the side of the company and executive who was creating the toxic environment.
