There's a group of people that are promoted and compensated for their work and others that are overlooked and have to advocate for themselves with minimal compensation if any for excelling and promotions do not always come with raises. Seen many amazing employees that leave due to being overworked and under compensated while new employees come in at a high rate with often underwhelming performance.

Upper Management - little communication, don't follow the core values. Will micromanage a person into failure. Lay blame rather than help people succeed. They point out how long many of the people have worked at Deacon but fail to point out the high turnover if you don't break into the "favored status"
