Pros
I like working with people, and have been able to negotiate, mediate, and help them come up with solutions to create win-win situations. This helped me collect more money for the companies I worked for, and reduce bad debt each year.
Cons
Being a bill collector is stressful. Some people will scream and yell at you, call you names, hang up on you, and cry. Others will lie to you and tell you sob stories about why they cannot pay.
