When I started the company was fun and focused and had a family feel, then one of the senior management left and everything got progressively worse. The new senior management likes to talk a good game about culture, but they forget the number 1 aspect of taking care of their employees. They try to preach about work life balance but you often don't have time to leave your seat because the metrics you have to hit are so extreme. They are extremely metric focused, expecting you to have billable time for at least 7 1/2 hours of your 9 hour shift, Originally they gave performance based bonuses for reaching and exceeding the metrics. Over time they made that more and more difficult and eventually removed that completely. Don't expect an increase in compensation after a year, even after a great performance review, they will continue to give excuses while increasing your workload. They force you to sit through quarterly meetings so you can hear how awesome the CEO and COO are and how much fun they have going to conferences. They literally brag about how great everyone thinks they are, while clients are getting neglected, it takes 2 days to call anyone back because they cant keep techs, a big disaster all around. Most of the bigger clients are a huge mess and difficult to work with, the account managers who handle those accounts don't do anything to help clean up the situation.
