-I have worked here for two plus years now and the organization as a whole is very welcoming & really pushes a team type atmosphere. -The leadership really strides to make each employee feel appreciated and doesn't bombard you with work - sets clear goals & guidelines. -The work has provided me the opportunity to learn myself and my own unique skill set, as well as given me the opportunity to meet fascinating members of our government and military. -Solid benefits & the ability to grow. -Leadership here takes care of their employees and gives them perks! -Hours are ideal & you get all federal holidays off! -There is some travel involved depending the position, but it is covered and the events are always a positive learning experience and a culmination of all your hard work. -You will enjoy the profit shares at the end of the month following your event.

-The ability to become a mini-expert on a new topic every month. I really enjoyed the research aspect of the job, and now know a lot about various military topics. -Creative freedom. Producers are given a topic and suggestions on how to plan an event around it, but we decide who to invite and what to invite them to speak on. -Travel. Getting to travel once a month is fun, and getting to see the event you produced is very rewarding. -Meeting lots of smart and interesting people. Going to the events you produced and getting to meet the military leaders, government officials, scientists, and experts that you've been speaking to for months is awesome. Nice networking opportunities. -Profit share from events. It's not a huge amount but is a nice bonus, especially when you produce an event that does really well. -Good office culture. People and managers are friendly and there's a good team atmosphere. Management works hard to create a fun dynamic--quarterly outings like baseball games, escape rooms, bowling, etc. add to a good team spirit. -Managers easy to access. The team is small, and the managers are always around and easy to talk to. I've had jobs where my manager is more of an idea than a person, but the managers here are present and involved. -Set hours and very little overtime required. Gives you a lot of time for your life outside of work, and managers do not expect you to check emails or respond to calls outside of work hours unless you are on-site at an event or traveling for work.
