I started working for Delaware County about six months after I graduated college. I am so thankful to be given the opportunity to advance myself professionally. My department is full of happy and lively people that keep a positive attitude even when facing challenging situations. Despite being a government office Delaware County is extremely innovative in its practices and is always striving to become more efficient. Everyone in my department is extremely supportive and focused on the overall success of our team. I have used the health insurance a few times and it seems to be very comprehensive and affordable. Delaware County also provides opportunities for employees to learn more about their retirement trajectory and provides the knowledge needed to invest in the deferred compensation program.
