Benefits are OK. Relative security, unless teaching as an adjunct.
Cons
Very low pay for faculty; no Cost of Living pay adjustment. High salaries for administration however. Micromanagement. Overloader administrative bureaucratic structure with too many 'layers' and redundant positions. Culture of nepotism and underachievement. Students are expected to be 'passed' without having to demonstrate College level performance. Very depressing and frustrating for those who actually teach.
