      Toxic culture and weak leadership - one of the worst ever seen

      Pros

      - The work can be as little stress as you choose it to be. Plenty of people choose not to work hard and it's ok - Colleagues - peers and teammates across Engineering, Data Science and to an extent Product were good - When you do get the chance to do meaningful together, can be fun and rewarding

      Cons

      - Political, backstabbing and treacherous environment to the very extreme - Management, across the board are...the worst that tech can offer - Engineering IC senior leadership cohort is very, very weak - Actual performance has no effect on performance reviews

      Pros

      Nice office space in a good location. Fast paced environment gives early exposure to commercial ownership. You learn to work independently fast, mostly because you have to.

      Cons

      Management style swings between micromanaging every small task and disappearing entirely, cancelling 1 to 1s and leaving you blocked with no support. Onboarding is sink or swim, with almost no documentation, so you're expected to figure things out through word of mouth. Targets are set without the data or tools to actually hit them. The culture is cliquey, and where you sit in the group affects how much support and opportunity you get. Staff discount for using the platform is poor given the job.
