Pros

The people and the design work.

Cons

Delve has been purchased by an equity firm that continues to but other design firms. As a result, employment is not secure. They’ve had several rounds of layoffs since I joined the company last year as a cost cutting measure and a lack of client work. It is hard for me to give a positive review for the company as a result of being laid off after 10 months.

Pros

Some good clients and occasionally get an interesting project from time to time

Cons

Upper management fumbled the M&A and culture took a nose dive. Clear cost cutting as legacy partners sneak out the backdoor. Burnout culture with toxic backchannel communication through management.

Pros

Delve was my dream company for many, many years. There are so many insanely talented and cool people. There are pockets of beauty of inspiration.

Cons

- The path to promotion was elusive and continually shifting - Inconsistent workload (consulting will always be highs and lows, but balance was not encouraged) - Lack of transparency - Lack of mentorship and professional growth - Very little diversity - Multiple layoffs
