      Worst owner I have ever worked for

      Pros

      Flexible schedules Hires interns to help them get experience Coworkers are mostly good people

      Cons

      The owner, the owner, the owner. (I was accused many times, as have been most people, of trying to sabotage his company.) Way too many directors and VPs for a tiny company. Salaries are average to low for the position Check out the 4 star book on Amazon called "Joy Inc". The story about the author handling a customer with an office culture of fear (page 144)...this story is about Denison Consulting. Really strange that a company this dysfunctional gets paid to tell other companies how to run their businesses better...

      Founder (company namesake) is a Monster

      Pros

      Flexible hours and time off. Nice location.

      Cons

      Terrible pay, no raises, excessive pct of pay in profit sharing. Denison is the most irrational leader of anyone I've ever worked for. Sometimes friendly, but often times scary-mean. Way to many bloated titles for a small company, not to mention way-underqualified people in roles they have no business being in. Denison eventually drives everyone away including his co-founder, numerous partners, etc. The CEO is remote, and effectively powerless.

      Pros

      Denison has an entrepreneurial spirit. If you are a person who is interested in being more than a cog in a machine, but are willing to work hard and collaborate with everyone and anyone, then this may be the place for you. Your success and career at Denison are truly in your hands. There is a great team energy throughout the organization, and individual accomplishment is celebrated with zeal. When it comes to organizational culture, most employees realize that a healthy culture is the result of what we do collectively, and not something delivered top-down. As a result, we trust and respect one another and look for new ways to win together.

      Cons

      The company has been too quick to hire on some occasions, and has on-boarded people who were not a good fit for the culture or who lacked the skill set or initiative to be successful. This has unfortunately resulted in some destructive behavior and 'disgruntled' exits from the company.
