Pros

One perk is that it's a very optimistic environment, however its an extremely misleading advertisement for applicants. It says things like you're becoming a "Publice Relaions assistant" NOT TRUE. You're in warehouses in Costco's and Sam's Clubs for 8 hours a day selling things like mops and weight loss tea. On the other hand the marketing systems and time management experience gained in invaluable.

Cons

I say the time management and skills are great bc you have to be. If you're not, then this company will chew you up and spit you out. They have extremely high expectations which is normal for a management team, however they will make you drive all the way to the office for a ten minute meeting you drove an hour in traffic both ways for, so if you're not local, forget about it. Also, your "TIME OFF/DAYS OFF" aren't really considered to be your own. I know on my birthday I worked a shift in the morning after the 8 am meetings (that you still have to go to on days off) and then proceeded to work from 9-5 go home for an two hours then meet back up at a Costco to set up booths for a campaign I wasn't a part of. Why? Bc they expect you to have no life and sacrifice now in order to make your way with LOW WAGES/COMMISSION bc of the fact that people run from you. You don't get paid HOURLY so they take ADVANTAGE of your TIME/EFFORTS. This is bc they say you earn a lot after the first year and once you get into management- $100k! With big dreams i worked day in day out to suck up to my "leaders" who give feedback on your "growth" as entry level and you know what? People around me dropped like flies and finally myself too. They say its bc "not everyone can stick with a good opportunity or not everyone can push through" ….NO not everyone wants to be used and taken advantage of and rewarded for sacrificing days off with a pat on the back and low pay for all the excess hours! Lastly, the office environment can be fun but it can be VERY cliquey. If you don't like that work environment, don't go this way. I've never had a problem making friends, but with everyone starting at the same position, everyone fights and claws their way to the top with sneering and snide comments from peers that aren't "uplifting" as they would like you to think, but abrasive. With everyone being hired bc we're chief material to make it to management, there aren't enough indians to make it smooth. in short: 1/10 people make it to management to make the 100+ k a year, SO DONT BE USED FOR LONG WAREHOUSE HOURS AND RIDICULOUSLY POOR COMMISSION ON MEDIOCRE PRODUCTS THAT NO BODY WANTS.

Pros

Let's see...there are NONE! It seems like the "management training is a facade.

Cons

They practically throw a job at you and advertise it as something else from event planning to PR management... Easiest interview for the position that doesn't require any experience...seems super sketch. Also, why would I want to drive to different Costoco and Sam's Clubs when management just stays in office and tells everyone what to do? Did not seem like the opportunity I wanted AT ALL. I did not get a degree to do something that ANYONE can do.
