      Pros

      Management is really good at accommodating individual needs as it relates to work/life balance.

      Cons

      Frequently having to brush sand out of my keyboard. Also, sometimes working on the beach it's difficult to see the laptop screen.

      Pros

      Small business environment where you can get hands-on experience quickly. Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the business due to its size. Some initial sense of camaraderie before challenges arose.

      Cons

      Lack of integrity and transparency — leadership often creates their own version of the truth to protect themselves. Unprofessional handling of employment matters, including withholding of final pay after layoffs. Poor communication and accountability from management when issues arise. Limited structure or HR support, leaving employees unprotected in difficult situations. A tendency to blame employees rather than own leadership decisions.
