The community is amazing and there are so many organizations that want to help. There is a lot of room for growth. There is union protection. Benefits are great.
Cons
There is no onboarding to speak of; you're just kind of thrown in. People in positions to change this don't seem concerned. Communication from Main library is spotty at best. Some positions are paid terribly and many of them work at the level of their rate. The probationary period for some positions is incredibly long and you can't use any time off for almost A YEAR (I've never seen anything like it).
