Pros

Snacks Work from home 2 days a week Health Benefits

Cons

This is the most passive aggressive environment I have ever been in. Everyone starts out nice and friendly and then things quickly change. They let you think you can make big dollars here, but you cant. Its a 9-24 month sale cycle. The don't give people a chance. Now they would rather outsource cold calling to a women's prison in AZ then pay professionals. They might send you a few passive aggressive emails, they might even suggest to employees they quit. The remaining team will probably steal a deal behind your back, which everyone knows about except you. The passive aggressive teammates throw people under the bus. And the worst part, when training is delivered, it rarely goes smooth. People have to scurry to fix it. It does not matter how hard you work, it is never good enough. They do not have a Blue Ocean. There is nothing unique here. Just ego's. Poor communication, and when there are less than 10 people working in the office/remote, this should not happen. I am not bitter nor angry, I write this to warn professionals to think twice, they even give you office chores. No one wants to come into the office to mop, clean the bathroom, etc. 3 people gave notice between the dates of June 30th and July 10th. 1 left because of change in strategy, and was already planning to leave anyway. So what are you left with? Not much. They will probably post positive reviews to hide this review, say it is great. But that would be false. An obvious cover up like the deals stolen by teammates who want to help everyone succeed. Smoke and Mirrors here.

Pros

1.) Free snacks 2.) You get to work from home twice per week

Cons

1.) I was hired to manage large existing accounts, but instead I was asked to cold call accounts that DevelopIntelligence "may have" worked with in the past. 2.) Good communication skills are not treasured at this company. The few people in leadership roles do not communicate well, and when they try to, they are extremely obscure. Nothing is black and white which leads to lots of confusion. 3.) During my transition out of my role, I gave the company two week's notice. I asked several times for the opportunity to hand over my few accounts to someone during those two weeks. I was not allowed to tell customers I was leaving until the very last day of employment. 4.) This is a technical training company that outsources their instructor pool (except for two instructors who work full time and who are awesome and very talented.) I only had the opportunity to sell a few new deals and with each one, something went wrong because of the outsourced instructor's lack of professionalism. Granted, this company does have about 5 outstanding instructors, but the fact of the matter is - they need a lot more than that. 6.) Shortly after I started working there, I was told that everyone in the office had to pick a cleaning assignment because the CEO did not want to invest in having a cleaning person come to the office once per week. Tasks included cleaning toilets, windows, counter-tops, as well as vacuuming floors and mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors.
