Pros

Decent Pay Some very good, down to earth coworkers at the worker-bee level

Cons

Not so great benefits package (In my opinion, they are to lazy to put any effort into negotiating a decent insurance package) Complete lack of structure and drug use at management level make it an extremely unstable company. Unbelievably high employee turnover. Misplaced loyalty by owner to his lead has clouded his judgment on many occasions & led to extremely costly mistakes. Owner should stick to making boats, his only successful endeavor. Too many "hands in the pie"... Owner's bad decisions have led to large financial infusions by outsiders,,, e.g. Barrels division mostly owned by others, CNC division and equipment scattered, main firearms division beholden to multi-millionaire heir apparent of large pharmaceutical firm (do your own research on this fellow, you can find in business records filings) They are always so behind on bills they are constantly robbing one to pay another that is the most past due, and they mostly just ignore calls from those that they owe to. All in all, take the advice of the posts below and DON'T DO IT if you are thinking about taking a job here at any level.

Pros

small company made it easy to achieve goals with less red tape. The owner really cares about the well being of his employees.

Cons

family run business allowed emotion to enter business situations. Being a small company sometimes made it difficult to find resources for increasing business.
