1. Hire and fire culture
2. Almost everyone leaves the company within 3 months
3. Huge deductions in salary (fixed) at the whims and fancy of the owner
4. Even when your deducted salary comes, it comes 7-10 days late everytime
4. Forget the variable pay, apparently no one has ever earned a single rupee
5. There is no leadership layer- no one to guide or learn from. Be it in sales, HR, engineering, product, finance, marketing, etc. Peer quality is extremely poor.
6. Extreme micro-management and culture of mistrust. Owner who sits out of HK has installed video and voice recording cameras in the office to spy on the employees
7. No leaves for the first six months. Even if you fall sick, you can't take leave. Expect a salary deduction.
8. Complete reimbursement policy is a sham
9. All the foreign offices are just paper offices and have no staff. Just one lady in HK and some people in India
10. Constant battle between what will explode first- your patience or your 10 year old laptop
11. All glassdoor reviews are fake and spaced between 2-4 weeks & the owner asked to put reviews to manipulate the rating. Ping people on Linkedin, they will tell you the correct story.
12. CEO is an abusive micro-manager who will find creative ways to mentally harass you and believes no-one is doing their job without acknowledging that maybe this business model is flawed
13. Irrespective of any function you join, visit a jeweller before you decide to join, ask them if they will pay a premium of 2-4% for this service, ask them if they will buy online, ask them will their customers buy online? You will get your answer why this is a sinking ship.
14. If in 8 years of existence, there is no upper or middle management, you can understand two things- A. Lack of funds B. No one stays/joins
