Pros

Opportunity to Learn: Despite the challenges, employees may gain exposure to various aspects of the design, development, and project management process. Something Over Nothing: Provides a stepping stone for gaining industry experience.

Cons

Inconsistent Communication: A disconnect between what is said and what is executed creates confusion and impacts trust. High Work Pressure: Unrealistic timelines for complex projects often lead to burnout. Leadership Gaps: Ineffective leadership and communication skills among team leads, particularly in UI/UX development, result in inefficiencies. Backend and SEO Issues: Delivery challenges in backend development and a lack of technical expertise in SEO hinder outcomes. Weak Project Management: Project management lacks structured processes and fundamental training, which impacts efficiency. Poor Work-Life Balance: Long hours exceeding 13 hours daily, including weekends, without compensation blur the boundaries between work and personal life. Professional Conduct: Instances of unprofessional behavior and a lack of respectful communication need addressing. Strict Compensation Policies: Rigid policies, such as salary deductions for late arrivals after 11 AM, foster a negative perception.

An Overwhelming and Disheartening Experience

Pros

A handful of colleagues were supportive and genuinely hardworking, which made some moments bearable.

Cons

Toxic Work Culture: The workplace environment was plagued by negativity. Instances of gaslighting, unprofessional behavior, and even verbal threats created an atmosphere of constant stress and fear. Unrealistic Expectations: Work-life balance was nonexistent. Employees were regularly required to work weekends and late hours without proper acknowledgment or compensation. Chaotic Processes: There was no clear workflow or effective task management system. The in-house tools were inefficient and often caused more frustration than they resolved. Unprofessional Communication: Reliance on WhatsApp for official and client communication was not only unprofessional but also invasive, leaving no boundaries for personal time. Unresponsive HR and Leadership: HR appeared more focused on appearances than addressing employee concerns. Leadership seemed indifferent to the well-being of their team, creating a sense of helplessness. Resignation Process: For those resigning, the final days were unnecessarily difficult, with threats of legal action and unexplained deductions from final settlements, making an already tough situation even more stressful. One of the most disheartening aspects was seeing how the culture affected the mental health and personal lives of employees. The lack of accountability and support from management was deeply discouraging. If you’re considering joining, I recommend doing thorough research and weighing your options carefully.
