Good work-life balance/Poor management

Pros

Good work life balance

Cons

Dinova offers a niche B2B marketing platform that is challenging to convey. New investors prompted unrealistic goal expectations which will result in increased turn over. Benefit package is below standard. Leadership team cares about numbers not people. The company is small and they issue a mandatory employee survey touting themselves as one of Atlanta's best places to work. Anyone providing truthful answers that are critical of the company would compromise anonymity. BEWARE.

Pros

You get nice perks if you’re in the cool kids club.

Cons

There is no career growth, promises are made but not kept to keep you working hard and the leadership team is combative towards their employees.

Dinova Response

Thank you for sharing you concerns about Dinova and be assured that we value employee feedback and suggestions. That is why we conduct multiple employee surveys throughout the year--to give everyone an opportunity to share their honest and candid thoughts and opinions about Dinova. In our most recent survey, employees rated our Leadership Team 25% higher than the U.S. National Average score, so I have a great deal of confidence in our LT and their ability to work together to lead the company. If you have specific concerns, I welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you. We do have a cool club--our President’s Club, which is our annual company paid trip for eligible employees who meet targeted performance goals. Prior to 2019, our sales team members were eligible for this award. Last year, we expanded President’s Club eligibility to all teams and, based on job performance, one or more employees from each department earned a three-night all-inclusive vacation for themselves and a guest at a luxury resort in Mexico. We are a small company, which can make it more challenging to carve out a career path; however, 10% of our staff were promoted in 2019 so the opportunities are there. If you are interested in advancing your career, talk with your manager about your goals during your bi-weekly one-on-one meeting. Your manager can help you identify steps you can take to prepare yourself for the next level whether that’s gaining additional knowledge and skills through classes or seminars or working with a higher-level team member who can serve as a coach and mentor. I feel like we have a very open-door approach at Dinova, so I want to be sure you feel comfortable talking to your manager about your concerns. And if you don’t, I want you to know you can come directly to me and I will listen without judgement. It’s important to me that everyone in the company has an opportunity to share their opinion and be treated fairly. Alison Galik, President and CEO
