Pros

Health insurance was outstanding, maybe the best and most affordable I ever had. Vacation days are pretty standard although 3+ months a year are blacked out and you cannot use them.

Cons

Amateurs. New management in the Phoenix plant displays a level of arrogance, incompetence, and petulance that truly boggles the mind. Management style is to make people fearful of their jobs, make off the cuff emotional decisions with long term implications, and hold grudges against people without ever discussing any issues they had with them. Retaliation will come after that in the form of drastic schedule changes, demotions, hiring over the top then ignoring the person, magically eliminating positions to let someone go then telling the rest of the employees they are on a sabbatical, suspension for drug tests with little evidence, etc. And if you do find another job, don't tell anyone where you are going or they may contact the other employer and get your offer withdrawn. Constantly makes demands based on ignorance and refuses to listen to advice from the seasoned professionals below. Seems to believe that their thoughts and hare-brained ideas and orders are communicated absent of the spoken or written word yet still holds people accountable, secretly. Advice is to stay away.

Pros

Benefits were good. Interest free loans.

Cons

Notification of "mandatory OT" often times 20 minutes before ending a shift. Inability to hire sufficient help during quarterly peaks resulting in theft and fights that caused myself and a number of other long time employees to question the integrity of the company.

Pros

Benefits are good, some people are worth keeping around.

Cons

Management does not see a problem with poor communication skills and chooses to keep supervisors and managers that cannot relate to production staff. There is often a huge disconnect between what management thinks happens and what really happens. This is a company that plays favorites and insists you suck up to get ahead. People with skills get laid off due to "reduction in force" as an excuse to fire people they do not like. The HR department is a joke, and nothing is confidential.
