Pros

Some great and talented people who do genuinely care. Great benefits (when the money is flowing) A good product idea.

Cons

Almost no consistent training for onboarding: I was left to figure out most stuff myself which meant a much longer process to get started. No direction for critical departments. The core product is riddled with frontend bugs with no clear plan to address. Acquisitions made of other companies with no thought as how to support the product. Cliquey exclusionary atmosphere between engineering and other departments. Over spending. Promises made to speak publicly about layoffs never followed through with. I felt pressured to reveal my mental health challenges to senior management - this was after being confronted for their symptoms as a behavioural issue, my immediate manager was not consulted during this process until after the fact. The company promised a staff training to address this that never occurred during my time there. Then I was later selected for ‘redundancy’ despite other staff who were subsequently offered their roles back who were also just as necessary to the business (and I know they cost more to the company salary wise than I did)

Pros

People - There are some good apples

Cons

The word "Toxicity" would be understated when used to describe the environment, product, and overall company culture.  The company is run by a narcissistic leader who has built a foundation based on lies and deception. If I could help someone not make the same mistake as the hundreds of current employees (or the ones who have been recently laid off) that would be a success. Unfortunately, I am sure this post will be pushed down by the fake positive ones found on this website by "Dixa Employees". Where to start? The leadership is AWFUL, I wouldn't trust the leaders to look after my goldfish, let alone a company. They lie to everyone they interact with, board, EMT, employees, etc. The KPIs of the company are created in a black hole, and no one has any idea how close they are to those numbers (if its sales numbers they are NOWHERE close), although everyone's bonus is tied to them. They keep telling people they are a rocket ship, but this "rocket ship" crashed and burned before even getting off the ground. All the good leaders have left, and the only people naive enough to join are the CEO's white male buddies from a previous job, therefore creating Bro Culture that so many other people have noted on this website.  I am still unsure of how they got funding in series C. The numbers are terrible, clients cancel or leave constantly, and the good employees leave or get fired.  The product - is dreadful. There are so many better solutions on the market, and without direction, it hasn't gotten any better in years. So much so that we have lost many clients including our largest one.  Culture - Toxic  Leadership - Dreadful

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and as a current employee I would also ask you to discuss this with your direct manager. We aim to create a transparent culture for employees to provide honest and direct feedback to their managers so that we can continuously improve. We support this on a company wide scale also with our bi-weekly engagement surveys, and regular Q&A sessions and town halls with our senior leaders. We would like to address a number of elements to this review. As a business we know we are not perfect, yet we are constantly looking to improve how we work, through open feedback sessions, management training to be delivered and looking to instill a continuous flow of feedback from our employees so we can continue to improve. That being said, we have not and will not lie to our employees, we have been transparent with the organisation throughout the recent restructure and will continue to do so. We have never found the Dixa culture to be described as toxic, and instead friendship and collaboration are a number of themes which resonate through our engagement surveys and recent culture interviews. It has been a challenging couple of months, but with our consistent approach to improvement, we are confident that we can drive the business forward in its next stage. As we have addressed, the leadership team are working hard with our teams post the restructure, in which we unfortunately had to say goodbye to a number of fantastic employees, who had made huge positive contributions to the business. Dixa is very fortunate to have exceptional people across the globe who are working to drive the business forward. The board and the CEO have complete faith in the leaders of the business to take us forward to the next stage.

Pros

If you are lucky, you’ll get a free company trip to a warm location with quality food, drinks and a nice hotel. You can work remote.

Cons

The company is a disgrace for the tech industry. - sales driven, not product driven, if you start as a designer be ready to be a design monkey and be questioned by engineering and leadership. - if you are a women, don’t expect to be respected or heard. You’ll have people interrupt you, disrespect you and mansplaining you on a daily base. If you flag it you’ll get comments to calm down or just suck it up. - they play the game: you might be hired, but expect layoffs within a year or when a next funding round is coming up. - social cliques as well - they don’t care about what you do, leadership probably doesn’t even know what it is that you do - bro culture

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, and I am sorry that your time with Dixa did not meet your expectations. We are working hard to continuously improve our working culture and diversity here at Dixa, and would never say that we are a perfect company when it comes to diversity, as it is impossible to be. We still have a number of large steps to make which are working towards specific training which is soon to be delivered to the organization. Our mission is to make Dixa an inclusive workplace where everyone can belong and thrive, regardless of background and belief. That being said, although the organization is not as diverse as we want, we do not have a culture in which individuals are not heard or respected due to their gender or ethnicity. Everyone has an equal voice at Dixa, and this is something which has been instilled in the organisation since its inception.
