Pros

The employees. Great benefits package 401k match 50 cents to every dollar up to 6%

Cons

They seem to keep you in your place if you can handle your job rather than promote for doing well, little to no recognition for a job well done, company is top heavy, I report to 5 managers. Inconsistent operations across the board. Departments work against eachother rather than together.

This person is exactly right. We had too many people in charge giving too many different directions to the employees. We have since reorganized the company to address these issues and are working hard each day to do a better job of recognizing employee contributions. Please check out our employee video on our website which showcases how we are committed to helping them grow. Document Systems has grown since 2009 based solely on our employees efforts. We are a much different company now.

Pros

Once a yr, if in elite group, win some cash

Cons

20 something yes later, they still can't dispatch right. Order parts/supply's right , not 212 to treat employees like trash.

Unfortunate that a well tenured employee of 20 yrs feels this way. For the past two years we have awarded every employee with $1,000 to share in the success they have brought to Document Systems. We have always asked for ideas to do things better no matter what position anyone holds. Our technicians make monthly bonuses regardless of tenure. We do have bonuses for achieving Elite Status through the Ricoh program and have since changed the process to award everyone with a cash bonus by just passing the test. We have finally started our process to upgrade our old archaic OMD system to E Automate to fix our parts/dispatch/supply issue so we can better support our clients and technicians.

Pros

Flexible Schedule 401K Health Benefits ***IF you are new to sales IE out of college or brand new to sales and never picked up a phone before, then this job COULD be beneficial to you. You will get thrown to the sharks and really learn what it is to pay your dues and see if you have what it takes to do the roughest of the rough of sales. However, if you are an experienced closer looking for real opportunity, this is not a good fit.

Cons

*Micromanagement is pretty extensive to the point where Sales Managers will tell you how to write your emails down to the noun. *The training is next to non-existent, you will be making sales calls your second day without a clear view of the business process, their sales cycle, or even what you are selling *NO MARKETING, Social Media Presence, or Advertising - 100% self generated leads
