Pros

* Some people are nice. * They are mostly nice. * They are inclusive and there's nice Benetton vibes. * I left soon enough.

Cons

* Poorly organized. * Chaotic. * Emotional manipulation. * Lots of name-dropping and hype in the interview. #redflag * Wrong idea of software management/evaluation. * Messy processes. * No pipelines. * Literally no onboarding whatsoever, you're dropped in the middle of nowhere. * Bad tech stack. * Meetings on weekends until late hours. * Informal contracts. * Apparently no legal conformation whatsoever. There's no company to sue. * PMs that mistreat you. * Too many meetings. * Used to volunteers giving free time/work. Don't value people's time. * Overworked devs. Crunch time is mandatory and expected. Even though the contract says "monday to friday". * Lots of beating around the bush. Indirect communication. There are many other opportunities that are better than this company. Just don't waste your time with all the glitter and focus on what's real. They wanted me to get more devs in here, after I told some fellow Sr Devs how things were organized they quickly signed with other companies. Can't blame them, although I did actually want to work with them again. I had really good expectations and actually like some of the people involved, but the way they work is not something an experienced dev can tolerate. They seem to have good intentions but execution is lacking. However, it is as they say: the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I got stiffed by this company—never got paid—I sure had a much better use of my time than attending lots of meetings and being told that "testing in production" is fine because they are in a hurry. A complete waste of time and a total loss on my side. Just writing this so it won't happen to you. Good luck.

Thanks for the shout out for the vibes and for this further feedback. It reminds us of how challenging things were in the January through May 2021 timeframe. Those five months marked a significant transition period for us. The small, core team had to lead a big shift in our operating model - from building FightPandemics.com, an all-volunteer crew of hundreds of people who built a global Covid-relief help-board, to building DoinGud.com, an NFT marketplace where every sale results in a contribution to a nonprofit or social cause. The transition phase is now over. We have expanded the professional leadership team, built processes that simplify and speed-up decision-making, and are active each day in operating with a culture of appreciation. With each new person that joins DoinGud we get closer to making real our intention to empower meaningful creation to build a better world.

Pros

Flexibility and freedom to work anytime

Cons

During recruitment I went through 2 weeks unpaid trial period after which I did not get any feedback from the HR or management team (positive or negative) while left on the platform, after several weeks they claim to be too busy to attend to me. Also, meetings were always canceled and rescheduled with excuse that other meetings came up
