Pros

Great people to work with. Flexible.

Cons

The company went into insolvency and is now with the liquidator but never told the employee about the situation. Didn't get the pay for the work we already did. No super + no notice period but gave false promises to the employees. The employer didn't answer the previous employees' calls when they asked about their unpaid salaries + super This is the worst incident I experienced in my career life.

Pros

Great people to work with. Great projects.

Cons

Company is now in liquidation. Unpaid super, unpaid wages, unpaid accrued leave, no notice, etc. Failed to be transparent to employees about the state of the company. Pros

Super flexible workplace and culture - being fully remote and accomodating to working around any appointments or errands you need to complete during the day. Management trusts you to get your job done in the hours that suit you. The project are really exciting with a wide range of clients from big tech companies, corporates and startups. The team is really supportive and encouraging. The weekly kudos segment in our All Hands is always full of praise for celebrating any big or small wins by team members. Employees are encouraged to submit ideas for products to work on internally, and there is a program to reward people for submitting ideas that become successful products.

Cons

There were some big challenges to overcome when COVID hit, and transitioning to be a remote workforce was a new concept for the business. It probably could have been handled better and provided more support to people when we first started working from home, the culture took a bit of a hit. There were also some financial constraints during this time as was faced by many businesses. However there was an in-depth culture survey done and everyone's suggestions were listened to and many new processes have been implemented since. I've really noticed a massive improvement in the way we are working and it has regained a really strong and positive culture.
