The Blind Leaders

Pros

Easy work. Very assembly line mentality.

Cons

Where to begin. The company threw out half of its staff without any notice. Won’t pay unused vacation days. The higher ups have no idea what they’re doing. Clearly they struggle to understand how and when to spend their money. Or how many employees to actually hire. The company is a mess and by all indications is on its way out.

Pros

Growing company in the mid if an international expansion, opening new countries, new languages. Well known in Spain and Latin America and building a presence in english speaking markets and recently France, Germany and Italy. Spectacular people inside, lots of different creative and business profiles. So much to be done! Great product! quality and details in production are the main added value of Domestika.

Cons

Top management is not fit to run a company, people's turnover in the company is really high. Several cases of hirings and firings in less than 3 months, without explanation. There is no room for conversation, sharing ideas, thoughts, which is strange, being a startup that should embrace this environment. Management doesn't incentive innovation, on the contrary, it is stuck in the same process dynamics than when they started. People tend to settle for what they offer, do not speak up because you might get fired, and usually the ones that do try to innovate, step up and give their 200% are not recognized for it. Working in a commercial team there are no bonus or commissions. It is expanding in market share, but shrinking inside. If they say they will give you a raise at the short time when you are about to enter, dont fall for it, negotiate your salary from the beginning, its not easy to get the raise later, you have to chase a lot of people for it and it might even not happen.
