The company is awesome but the sales staff is all about themselves.
Pros
It's challenging. Learning auto sales is hard work, but it is very exciting. You work long hours but when you sell a few cars, it makes it all worth it. They do a few things to keep the staff happy. Don Jacobs Jr does a wonderful job. You get 3 months of relief pay for the first few months to give you a cushion.
Cons
They don't advertise so there are some days (sometimes a few) where you don't get to sell a car or even talk to someone about a purchase. It's all commission pay so if you aren't selling you aren't making any money. Your co-workers will try and steal your sale or invent reasons why they deserve a portion of your sale. The sales staff is cancerous! As soon as you start the job they tell you why it's the worst job you could've taken.
