      Pros

      The local employees are extremely nice and welcoming to new employees and guests. Great group of people.

      Cons

      Both electronic and manual processes are very outdated, which forces new employees to take a big step backwards. Interview process did not reveal this fact. Also not mentioned in the interview process is the fact that one of their newer products is related to erectile dysfunction. Had I known this, I would never have accepted a position as it’s an uncomfortable product to talk about to co-workers and vendors. Lastly, the office furniture and decor is from the 70’s. Dark (no sunlight) and very dated.

      Very creative in reporting financial results since it’s a private company

      Pros

      I’ve learnt a lot of ‘creative’ ways to look good. The man at the top is a master in making everything seem rosy, when in fact the rot is everywhere.

      Cons

      So many to name. You have the top HR who is openly racist (and blames it on her childhood, can you believe that), you have a whole group of management staff who do not believe in work life balance, blatant favoritism in such a small office, I think it is difficult for any new staff to succeed here

      Pros

      The people at Dornier are like a family outside of the management. The benefits are ok, but have been declining the past few years on coverage.

      Cons

      High stress, under staffed, and pay is not comparable to other companies in the medical industry. There is also a lack of work/life balance. Everyone is expected to work even on weekends and vacations.
