Generally fun people to work with at lower levels.
Cons
The revenue organization is a disaster. There is no clear vision of how to intentionally roll out new initiatives, no proper training, and no career pathing. People are quitting weekly at this point, and everyone is burnt out. There is no work-life balance at all here— leaders will message you at 10pm which sends a bad message. For the sake of your mental health, DON'T WORK HERE!
Dot818 provides a healthy learning environment for those who want to advance in their careers. You will likely be asked to do more than you feel qualified to do, but you will be given the tools, time, and feedback you need to grow into the role.
You'll stay busy, but it's the good kind of busy -- a kind of contagious momentum where everyone is trying their hardest to help the company succeed. We care. You will, too.
The people are great. Everyone is friendly and the breakroom is always a delightful place to spend your lunch hour as you chat with colleagues and enjoy goodies from the generously stocked pantry.
The company regularly sponsors fun team-building lunches and events. Last year we ran a Spartan Race together. Lunch is brought in once a month. And we all go out to eat every time a new employee is hired. The office culture makes it feel like you're working with a bunch of friends.
The CEO is well-respected in the industry. He treats his employees like family and he expects the best out of us. His expectations and ability to define goals have helped me progress in my career. He's done an impressive job building up the company. Those who work with him know that dot818 will be around for a long, long time.
Cons
The office is right next door to a firehouse and sometimes the sirens can be distracting.
Some of the staff were friendly and approachable, but nothing here stood out.
Cons
The belittling of the management made me feel terrible about myself and it was STRESSFUL! I don't understand how they could be so mean and hostile, but blame all of their bed decisions on us!
