Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Pros
Not many, Staff food I suppose. However it steadily decreased in quality to the point that I preferred to eat nothing or bring in my own food as bar staff/chefs weren't checking dates on food also cost cutting in everysingle way such as replacing pepsi for cheap generic coke and replacing the half portion Chicagotown pizzas for what are basically the "50p kids pizzas" you can get from most supermarkets. Decent pay for someones first job.. But don't stay longer then you have to.
Cons
The managers (as most places) ALL had favorites and unfortunately if you weren't one of these or a pet to all then you basically wasn't even noticed, acknowledged and spoken to as if you were a child. Procedures are constantly changing to the point that no one ever knew what was going on, staff dont know what vouchers were valid or acceptable or what promotions are going on at anytime every ones running around like lunatics just because management don't know how to do their job or communicate. You'll probably end up working 6-8 shifts in a row before you can expect your 2 days off as the rotas are horrid. (You can also expect to be working straight from nights to mornings with no time off in-between to reset your body clock because you also don't have a life working here) The turnover rate is so high here it's just silly so if you plan on working here you better be good at learning names! Relationships in work?! There are 3 different couples who are all managers! You can imagine how well this works. Good news however, if you're a couple and want a job together this is your place because they also hire couples. Professional Indeed! Progression? You're kidding right.. Even though the turnover is extremely high the people at the top never leave because they get better incentives (Pay, bonuses for hitting silly easy targets and they pretty much run the court) Moral is at an all time low and even veterans of the place have either left or thinking about it and applying for more jobs so my advice, keep looking!
