Pros

Work from home is the only positive thing about DOZR.

Cons

Absolutely everything. The harder you work for this place, the more likely they are to lay you off. After giving so much extra time and effort that this company didn't deserve, I got laid off - even after being told by management that a raise was to be expected mid-February. The only people they want to keep around, are those that are good at pretending to work. The joke around DOZR is that everyone needs to 'pick up a shovel,' meaning that if something isn't your job or responsibility, too bad - you're now on the hook for doing someone else's job. And make sure to get on the executive team's good side - so long as you're friends with them, you'll never get fired or laid off, even if you're incapable of doing your job. Management has 0 background and knowledge of what they're doing. They'll micromanage you with phone calls at least 5-8 times per day, and you'll be harassed if you step away, even to just use the bathroom. If you're considering working at DOZR, don't. I know WFH can be really enticing, but you'd honestly be better off just finding an in-office position elsewhere.

Pros

-Nice workspace -Friendly employees -lunch once a week

Cons

-Lack of leadership -Micro management -Family run Has a very negative experience working here. Was lied to from the start about what to expect as a rep in-regards to how much business the company was actually closing, and they changed the my commission structure without talking to me which is not ok. The company doesn't support you with much leadership or mentorship what so ever, my training lasted about 1 hour before I started reaching out to customers. Was also told at one point that the company was not focusing on the improving sales and only focusing on web/app development which was shocking to hear especially for a new hire in sales. Other reviews will tell you all that you need to know.

Brokerage company

Pros

Friendly group Fairly laid back Not a high stress or high pressure workplace Access to management is fairly easy

Cons

No real product Basically a brokerage house that exists to provide transactions for their parent company (Fair Ventures / Federated Insurance). Every transaction is an insurance sell for Federated. So in a way it’s basically selling insurance. Not much for support for customer issues. No real knowledge of heavy equipment in house. Technology portion is essentially useless.
