Pros

SkySync is a high growth company (200%+ YOY) so there is an abundance of opportunity and challenges (we never had a single person in our sales organization until Feb of 2017). So, for our small team, we are only as strong as the weakest member and are to some extent writing the playbook as we go. We all strive to work together and find new ways to solve customer challenges with our technology (Navy Seals of Sales). This also means that some folks have not made the complete journey. It has been really awesome seeing in 11 months, the team develop great partnerships with Box, Microsoft, Dropbox, and others while creating customer value within the F1000 as well. With Hybrid Cloud becoming the new norm, the opportunities are going to be endless!

Cons

This is a high growth technology first company and traditionally much of the business has been migration with some early adopters for content integration. This has opened up a lot of selling opportunities but also leaves the challenge of transitioning to a solutions-oriented company where marketing has lagged. So, like at any company, things are always changing. The team has build companies before which means they are capital efficient. They invest in people and where it makes sense to capitalize on opportunities opened up by our sales and business development teams. The downside is that they seem to not waste money on "sales toys"! If you cannot get your job done with LinkedIn, Discover Org, Email, Phone, and some creativity, then management will know quickly that enterprise sales is not the right role for you!

Pros

Has some good logos. Who purchased one time.

Cons

Family and friends on the payroll. Large marketing team that does nothing. Products not sellable and forced to Sales who can’t sell or were fired. No rules on Sales and no organization. New CEO spends more time collecting fake awards his marketing team signed up for than building strategy. Work here if you like nepotism and chaos with no product.
