Pros

One free donut per shift, share of tips, 25% discount

Cons

Closing shifts are horrible, it's hours of cleaning and that's not what I was hired for. I was under the impression I would be doing one job, but once hired we learned we would do everything. So you need to do back of the house and do dishes, make icings, and get everything for the topping tables. Toppers have the easy job of topping the donuts and just yelling back for what they need. Cashiers you need to make coffee, keep everything clean in the front end of the store. It's insane.. You are also expected to make the donuts as well. I'm just going to make working here a few months and I'm out.

Pros

Free donuts and coffee or tea. Easiest job I've ever had, even as a shift lead. Easy to get specific days off for the most part. App made schedules and everything very simple.

Cons

Ownership was a big one. The owner of my store opened two extra stores while I was working there, and I don't think there was really any knowledge on how to properly run a business. Owners would constantly come in and use our stations on busy Saturday mornings when we were short handed and refuse to help and even force some of the employees to help with the owners catered orders causing paying customers in store to wait even longer. People who had no business being promoted and constantly made career ending mistakes were coddled and made it impossible to properly run the store. Closing was horrendous with three people to close four stations, not including closing the registers. Had to watch the labor percentage, but also had to have the store perfectly cleaned, and also had to do it in forty five minutes or less. Was hired as full time and constantly had my hours played with and would get twenty hour weeks and other things. Was hired and told it would be fine that I needed sundays off by the owner. Then was told by the owners wife two weeks after I started that I'd have to work two Sundays a month, then was told by manager I'd have to work every Sunday. Was told I'd be training in a location thirty minutes from my home to be transferred to the location fifteen minutes from my home and that never happened.
