Leadership is ineffective. The COO seems lost, and employees are rarely kept longer than 10 months, seemingly to avoid equity distribution. In my opinion, this is an unethical and unhealthy way to run a company.
I was doing mostly sales but also some project management.
- Lots of opportunities to take leadership roles
- Pay increases straightforward to negotiate to get if you perform well and ask for them.
- Leadership does not micromanage and is motivated to grow the firm
- Company is financially responsible, avoids layoffs, and really cares about this.
Cons
- Some lack of direction as far as which markets the company should grow into
- Some lack of experience in leadership when it comes to growing the sales/ marketing function
