Pros
Very hands off so there are no performance reviews or other administrative chores though this is also a problem. See below. Initial pay was market level but again see below.
Cons
No pay increases. The company doesn't seem to care about the employees as long as hours are getting billed. I have zero faith management would ever know if I do good work. This also means there is no reward for good work. Any engagement with employees is usually a self-serving move to pump information relevant to an upcoming bid for new work. They claim to pay for work training but have not yet after repeated requests.
