Studying for M.Sc or PhD and taking salary. The community of employees, researchers and other students is not bad.

Well, the management is awful. The first contract I had stated that I am en employee in the university with the title of "Teaching Assistant". However, they refused to give me an HR letters because "We are students not actual employees". Then, all employees got raises in their salaries but TAs didn't for the same reason. Although the contract stated only that we should teach for 20 hours a week, they obligated us to stay on campus daily from 9 AM to 4 PM by using a fingerprint device. After the first year, they modified the contract to change our title to "Scholarship Student" instead of "Teaching Assistant". In the new contract they removed the agreed number of teaching hours, changed the term "salary" to "reward" and added a term that states we must be present on campus from 9 AM to 4 PM. The management can apply new rules without notifying you, you just get surprised by them out of the blue. There are more to say, but just to sum up, the top management is awful and terrible by all means, and currently it is worse than I said, because they deduced the salary by half yet keeping the same working hours but adding more restrictions with heavier teaching loads. There is no respect to TAs in this university, and there is no bylaw for TAs as well. There is also no specific laws that govern this university, because it of "special nature".
