Pros

The pay and benefits are good. Cost of living in Augusta is solid. You get to ride around on golf carts.

Cons

Chaotic. The facilities are old and run-down. Constantly questioning whether you’ll have a job or not. Management provides no support and are not willing to help. People will stab you in the back for their own wrongdoings if they are to blame for something. When you ask for help or need an answer to something, expect either a rude response or no response... I would seriously advise people who look for stability and peace of mind in an employer to look elsewhere because this truly is not the place to find that.

Pros

Great benefits, perks, company vehicle, travel, great CRM tool for managing territory/market share, if you hit your numbers you can make descent money

Cons

Although they are part of a fairly respected company (Textron) they are loosing market share left and right to Club Car and Yamaha despite having a fairly solid product set in the golf business which is their bread and butter. If you have a great year in sales, expect your following year quota to be 100% unattainable as they manage their business 100% by spreadsheet and you are stack ranked against everyone else in the country despite how long the golf season is and the number of accounts in your territory. The compensation package is designed for you to hit one year then miss badly the next year.

If you want a career apply elsewhere

Pros

Hard working hourly workforce, although not treated well by director level management due to uneducated, impulse decisions. I am surprised they have not unionized.

Cons

If you are the type of person who is driven, accountable, and passionate save your sanity and career...look elsewhere. Attrition for salaried employees is very high and rising due to management/ senior leadership's blind eye to talented people. Promotion from within is nearly impossible and not based on performance, and salary increases are not awarded for those who are promoted. The company will, however, laterally move you for years and years and call it talent development so they can get their "check" in the box. Positions open up only when employees finally realize they have wasted away years of their life going nowhere and leave, only then to be back filled by a lateral equivelant position that absorbs their responsibilities, leaving zero opportunity.
