Our core values of accountability, innovation, integrity, teamwork and work ethic are upheld on a daily basis without exception. We are a small company. Our internal team values collaboration and everyone's input is shared throughout all levels of the organization, discussed in detail and acted upon. This is true for employees, whether they have been here for 1 week or 20 years. We are regularly asked for our opinions on various matters of varying scope and are given fair, honest and prompt feedback. The lines of communication are always open between peers, management and our CEO. If an employee here has an idea or a concern, it will never fall upon indifferent ears. One thing that has been consistent over the years is people telling me how unlike other staffing companies we are with regard to our honesty and open, frequent communication. I've found that people do not generally expect this from staffing companies, and are surprised when they get it from us; this is coming from job seekers I speak with daily. Work-life balance is second to none. We are family-owned and treated as family. Goals and expectations are made clear and are rewarded. Employees are heard, respected and valued, as it should be in any business. I think these things are reflected long-term in our relatively low turnover. Our constant is that everyone here works with passion every day to set EDI Specialists apart.

Having worked in the staffing industry for some time, I've worked in other offices that have driven their employees to mental duress. EDI Specialists is not one of those companies. Everybody here works hard, but the work is fair and the management understands how to treat employees with respect. Coming to work does not feel like going in for 9 hours of basic training like it does at some companies. One thing that EDI has, that other staffing companies have lacked in the past, is a moral compass. In other places, I've had to stand up to direction from management because it's gone against my integrity, but not here. Only honest people need apply.
