- The quality of people at Engagency is top notch, in both skills and personality. It's very easy to work with the team, and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand if you have questions. Everyone looks out for each other. Regularly scheduled Happy Hours either in person or remote keep everyone in touch.
- Excellent Project Managers. A project manager can make a developer work experience simple and straightforward, or needlessly confusing and frustrating. Project managers are selected carefully at Engagency and the scope of requested changes and timelines are always made very clear to me, as a developer. You are given the uninterrupted time to complete the work and not brought into distracting meetings where your time wasn't required in the first place. If you have questions, they are quick to respond and find any answers you need.
- Being at Engagency will inevitably grow your skills and problem solving ability. As a developer I face interesting problems that call for creative solutions often. The "a ha" moments keep work interesting and rewarding. Clients and team express gratitude for your efforts.
Cons
No explicit cons that I can think of. But if you're looking to "hide" as some jobs at large companies allow for, I will say that this is not the right fit for you. You will be engaged and if you don't find that fun and exciting, another spot may be better for you.
