Pros

Most of the people are friendly and great Enjoy supporting our students

Cons

Have you ever wanted to join a cult? Join Entre. Be prepared for the weirdly intimate, oversharing-encouraged company culture. You are expected to be closer than family with coworkers you may see once a year. More time is spent by management patting themselves on the back than dealing with the major internal issues of trying to drive growth too quickly without a real actionable growth plan. Also, forget about work-life balance. You will get pinged on the weekends, you will be expected to work long hours. There is a running joke that we should get branded diapers because employees don't have enough free time to go pee.

We're sorry to hear about your unfavorable experience. I wonder if you've spoken to anyone about your concerns so we can have a chance to address them? We're always seeking feedback and something like this delivered directly could provide an opportunity for real change and potentially a change in your perspective. But, to at least address your concerns and advice here, the point of a weekly all hands meeting is to keep everyone informed of progress in each of the departments and create alignment in the focus of each department to reach our company wide goals. As for work-life balance, we support a holistic approach and emphasize the 3P's which a purposefully ordered as Physical, Personal and Professional. I'd encourage you to speak with your manager to prioritize tasks and manage time so you are not stretched so thin.

Pros

Some of the employees are truly great, friendly, and caring .

Cons

Almost a non-existent work/life balance. When you interview everyone is so friendly and appears to really love working there. However, once you start, the true colors of the organization begin to shine. Communication and transparency is very limited. In a rapidly growing business you expect constant change, however at Entre change is often poorly thought out and dictated on a whim by the founder which creates an extremely rushed and chaotic working environment that doesn't set employees up for success. Entre preaches empathy, etc. but don't truly practice it. The worst part of it all though is they think that they are having a great impact on people but the reality is their "courses" are designed to take as much money as possible from their customers without truly providing them with "an education."

We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience at Entre. We work hard to make this a positive and exceptional place to work and find this is the experience for the majority of our team members and students. But, because we take these reviews seriously and are open-minded toward the possibility of there being truth underneath the emotions of the situation, it motivated us to dig deeper into these comments specifically to see how others in the organization felt about it. We sought honest and unfiltered feedback and based on what we received, we know we're not perfect, but the experience of this one person was not indicative of the rest of the team. While we understand our fast paced, rapidly changing and growing environment isn't the right fit for everyone, we do work hard to provide support in many ways including encouraging and modeling a healthy work/life balance. That was also reflected in the feedback we sought from our team and in some of the other reviews shared here! We'd be glad to address any further matters through contact with our People Department directly.

Best Place I've Ever Worked

Pros

I absolutely love it here, I've been looking for a place that has a great culture and balance and I finally found it here. Management is supportive, there is room for growth, and everyone believes in the vision. I don't see myself going anywhere else. The remote nature of the job also allows for freedom of movement that I never had before.

Cons

I have nothing to complain about.
