It just made me sad

Co-workers and staff were great at my site. I truly felt as if I was making a difference.

Cons

They were very unprofessional and lacked knowledge of what they were doing. However when I was terminated they became knowledgeable really quick. I made a mistake and was immediately terminated I've been a counselor for a long time (10 years) and Meridian just threw me to the wind when I made a mistake. It is ALL on the job training!!! Orientation is a JOKE! Communication is horrendous. Human kindness has been lost at Meridian...clients are cash cows...trying to be human towards these people will result in punitive actions. If you just want to be a gear in the machine...this place is for you.

Vindictive and vengeful if you leave. People pay attention to the reviews and proceed at your own risk. The good reviews are most likely by Upper management and not real employees. You will find out the truth when you begin to work for them. I feel sorry for the clients. Its all about the money and filling beds with this company.

I'm sorry to hear this was your experience, but thank you for sharing. At the corporate level, we are routinely looking at ways to provide support and training to our leadership. Beginning in late 2019 we rolled out a new training series for our leaders and continue to consider ways to support the staff at our sites by supporting our management teams with learning opportunities.
